Most money advice in India is a sales pitch with a slide deck
Qubera Academy is the teaching side of Qubera, where we build research tools for Indian mutual funds, bonds and equities. We started running classes because the questions people asked us were always the same five, and nobody was answering them with arithmetic.
How we build a class
Every session starts from a spreadsheet, not a script. If a claim cannot survive being calculated in front of a room, it does not go in.
We teach with Indian numbers. Indian inflation, Indian tax slabs, Indian salary growth, Indian property prices. An American retirement rule applied to a Bengaluru salary gives you a wrong answer with great confidence.
Every tool we open during a class is yours afterwards. The class is two hours; the spreadsheet is the part you use for thirty years.
What we will not do
We do not sell financial products. No insurance, no portfolio management, no commission on anything you buy after the class. That is the whole reason we can say what we say.
We do not give personal advice. We are not a SEBI registered investment adviser. We teach the method; what you do with your own money is your decision, and for advice specific to your situation you should talk to a registered adviser.
We do not pitch at the end. The last twenty minutes of our classes are questions, not an upsell.
